why would you take on Tarver when you can take on Hopkins? silly boy.

why would you take on Pavlik when you can take on Kessler, Hopkins and then cash out for big money against Jones?

Pavlik had already said after the rematch with Taylor that Middle was his weight and that he didn't feel good going over that weight. the next time he did (Hopkins) he got the prime beat out of him. plus, Jones offered more money for him. Joe had the right to take the most money considering he'd only started getting the big money fights about 2 years earlier.

the rest i answered in the other post.

Joe beat the **** out of most of his opponents. he'd do the same to old brittle chin Ward as well.

did you just say Joe was **** on the inside!?? :rofl

Dino, always the clown of the forum aren't you. knuckle head.

one interview that was taken out of context and you can't help yourself.

it wasn't the full interview either.

and it was contradicted by the fact that Joe called out Jones plenty of times on TV, and had Wa55en make a few offers to him for the fight. :patsch

but if it keeps you warm at night, you may continue.

there's plenty of logic. as well as plenty of evidence. Ward is even doing the same thing to his main rivals now. :patsch

Both sides of this argument have to come to grips that this would be a nip and tuck fight. Either guy could win on any given night. Neither guy would stop the other, because that not really what they do. Their high water marks are basically the same in regards to the top level of competition they've beaten.

Kind of fitting. The king of one era vs the king of the next.

Hopkins was offered the fight as a one off. Jay Larkin explained it all. so shut up, it got boring a long time ago.

    yep.

he hates Welsh fighters. he was doing the same thing to Cleverly.

    guy is a sad case.

it's not the fault of Wales that he had his girlfriend taken from him by a Welsh guy. should have been able to make her cum then shouldn't he. :yep

a prime Calzaghe stopped plenty of people. the guy had heavy hands when they weren't all messed up. definitely enough to stop someone with a chin as seemingly bad as Ward's.

Stop it Assasin. Look at the guys who he was stopping. And look at some of those stoppages.

Some of them made Howard Foster look like a WWE referee.

so you're saying that Joe didn't have the power to stop Ward?

that's just complete nonsense to me. he very much does.

Ward doesn't have the power to stop anyone, so that side of the story is true. but not for Joe.

many of his former opponents have commented on his Heavy hands.

although i don't view Joe as a big puncher, he is a very good one. that's enough for someone with the chin of Ward.
