Ward vs Calzaghe thread #68. Didn't even read the first page.

Joe SD. Joe figures sh!t out, and so does Ward. Only Joe doesn't tire out in the late rounds like Ward did against Froch who has a lesser workrate than Joe... and Joe would blast the sh!t out of Ward in the championship rounds. 7-5 Joe X 2, 7-5 Ward X 1. That close.

Ward wins something like an 8-4 decision in a quasi-competitive fight. It's already been proven by B-Hop that Calzaghe's great workrate would be dropping against a fighter like Ward, and unlike Hopkins, Ward will actually throw a solid number of punches all twelve rounds. That said, Calzaghe would probably throw caution to the wind a few rounds completely once he's down on points and Ward would likely have a few rounds where he lets off the gas a bit, hence a clear but competitive decision win for Ward.
