Andre Ward controls his fights by controling the distance. Calzaghe has the footwork and quickness to dismantle this advantage, and the adeptability to not be confused when Ward takes the fight to the inside.

Ward lacks the power to back Calzaghe up, which is the key to beat him, so Calzaghes workrate, angles and stamina would make him win rounds. No doubt Ward would have his moments as well, since he's proven himself to be an A-level boxer.

I think Calzaghe would walk away with a narrow UD. I doubt the fight would ever happen, though. Ward has showed an unwillingness to make big fights happen, as we've seen with Andre Dirrell, Lucian Bute, Adonis Stevenson and Sergey Kovalev :-(
