Anthony Dirrel left Haymon a long time ago back in 2012. He works with other promotion companies and Haymon but isn't owned by him.
The fight should of happened between Anthony Dirrel and Ward that long ago but Ward chose not to. Ward also dropped his emeritus status which he could of used to fight for the title any time he wants because he doesn't want to face Anthony.

I'm wrong Andre left Haymon but Anthony obviously wanted the fight you can read the links it was Ward that didn't.

He still with Haymon, and Haymon would have to approve a fight with Ward who is with Roc Nation.

He dropped his status because he felt slighted by the fact the WBC had stripped him of his title. Point is Anthony Dirrel needed Ward then and still needs him now, but like I said, will Haymon allow him to fight Ward? I don't think so.

Those links are from 2012, Someone needs to ask Ward what he thinks of that fight now. Where it would be much bigger as a unification fight.

Those links show that Anthony wanted Ward but Ward didn't want the fight. He was only stripped because he wouldn't fight Anthony which he should have. Haymon was fine with seeking a fight with Ward then I don't see any reason why he wouldn't want it now. Ward has said multiple throughout the years he doesn't want to fight the Dirrels and I don't see that changing. I hope it changes as I would like to see Ward unify all the titles and reign like he should have after the Super6. If we wind up with having Ward, Anthony Dirrel, Andre Dirrel, and AA as champs it's going to quite the bummer.

He also said he doesn't want to move up Im talking about a talent that could be an ATG here not acting like he wants to fight all comers and be an ATG.

Calzaghe is old news Andre Ward should be the future of the sport!

The reason Haymon wouldn't want it now is because of Roc Nation. The WBC pick and choose when they want to enforce their own rules upon, even if the fighter was injured and had promotional issues. Show me where he said he wouldn't fight the Dirrels either last year or this year. I belive he will be open to fighting everyone after his tuneups. AA should fight Ward because everyone knows he is a paper champ and has beaten no one, as well as both Dirrel brothers should because who can they face to elevate their status since both don't have the names Ward does on his resume? I mean James Degale might beat Dirrel next, so he might not have any choice in fighting Ward or his own brother. Anthony needs to at least fight Groves, it isn't a done deal yet. Then a huge unification against Ward would be huge.

I heard that a fight with Kovalev can be made in the future.

Ward hasn't been fighting due to promotional issues yes and he's slated to fight in June in Oakland, but the Anthony Dirrel issues happened before his promotional issues.AA has his own little 2-3 man division goi on and just got the go ahead for another Steigiltz fight.

I want Ward to unify I hope your right and I don't think any SMW is favored over him in a fight. I also want to see Ward fight Kovalev. That's a fight that he might actually be an underdog in with his inactivity and surgery.

50 cent tried to get the Andre Dirrel-Andre Ward fight made was throwing up like 20 million but still couldn't get it done on behalf of Andre Dirrel.

Prince Wards manager talked a big game but the fight still didn't happen.

    We've been over this.

Andre Ward and Andre Dirrell pulled off a mutual duck. And it's the champs (Wards) job to expose overhyped bums if they happens to be the top challenger (Bute), not the champs leftovers (Froch).

Dirrel ducked Ward, Ward would have had no choice but to fight him in the Super6, but Dirrel pulled out.

As for Bute, he was a coward for not fighting in the Super6 to begin with, I'm sure Ward could still fight Bute in the future as Bute is still in the top 10. But it wouldn't enhance Ward in any way.

In the final ****yze, Ward would been forced to fight him, yes. But in the lead up to the schedueled fight, neither camps made any preparations. Ward wasn't training and his teams wasn't trying to work anything out with Dirrels team. Ward was clearly acting dodgy.

He wasn't invited, and when S6 was over with he tried to get a fight with Ward. When Ward flat out refused, Bute went on the road and fought the second best SMW in the world, Carl Froch. This tells us that Bute wasn't a coward, but rather overconfident.

It's pretty much up to Mr Ward do decide what Mr Ward is made off. If Mr Wards gets it on with the top dogs, that means I was wrong and you were right. Time will tell. But if you try to rewrite history, of course people will call you on it.

Clearly Dirrell wanted no part of Ward, since he was the one that pulled out.
Bute would lose to Ward then and now. Ward didn't have to fight Bute but he still can after his tuneups.

I didn't mind him fighting Rodriguez at the time, because he'd been out a while. It was just a tune up.

But then here we are in 2015, and I'm giving him another pass for fighting a Periban/Smith like fighter, because he's once again been out for ages, and it's another tune up.

It's so frustrating. His peak years are wasting away.

You guys acts as though Ward is 35, he's only 31, which is same as Kovalev and two years younger than Triple G.
