Joe Calzaghe would of been victorious. Andre Ward is a very very good fighter and it would of been a very very good fight, one of Joes hardest maybe, but I just think Joe was better than Ward.

Ward gets a worse slapping than Lacy did and retires.

Ward winning 120-108 would be far more likely.:deal

Draw is not an option, but I respect your opinion nonetheless.

naa I only just noticed that guy tried to fob me off with a failed argument, and he needed a talking to, to put him right.

the only thing I hate, is fakery.

Ward and Lacy are nothing alike in terms of skill

    Indeed very different.
Lacy arguably is faster, higher workrate and more power where as Ward is more of a holding mauling physical type of fighter who is arguably physically stronger. Either way the result would be the same. A win for Calzaghe.
Problem is in over 2 years Wards competition has been Rodriguez, P Smith and Barrera and they are fighters he should look impressive against. Against Bika, Froch, Boone etc he didnt look overly impressive but got the wins which is a good sign.

    Easy win for Calzaghe

Lacy is not faster, Ward is one of the fastest "big guys" there has ever been. Only the likes of RJJ rank faster. Workrate and more power are also highly debatable.

How is shutting out Froch with a broken hand not impressive? And as a guy fresh out of the Olympics clearly beating a dangerous guy like Boone too? Ward clearly won the Bika fight without much problems, it was a test of his skill but Bika also tested Calzaghe.

    8-4 Calzaghe.

2 great fighters, just think that Calzaghe's work rate, stamina and overall adaptability would win him the fight.

But it wouldn't be a pretty fight to watch, close but clear win for Joe.

Ward didnt shut out Froch at all. 2 of the judges scored it close and it was a close fight where I scored for Ward but didnt think he was a massive winner. There were some rounds that I gave to Ward that he won but only slightly and you are making out Froch was on some great roll. Look at where Froch was as probably a fatigued fighter having his 5th fight away out of his 6th and his run consisted of Pascal in a fight some feeling he had lost to Pascal who was not a top SMW, down after 11 rounds against Taylor on a run of 1-2 in his last 3 fights and not a top SMW, some feel he lost to Dirrell who was not a top SMW, he lost to faded Kessler, some feel he lost to faded boiled down SMW journeyman Johnson in his fight before
