I see a Floyd V Canelo or Rios v Donaire type fight where Ward totally disrupts Joe's rhythm and takes him to school. I see it 9-3 or 10-2 Ward (but it happened in wales it would be a KO3 when JC lands his first slap).

    Easy work for Ward

LOL, all the poll seems to prove is that there are more Brits who know **** about boxing in this thread.

Ward is an inside rough house fighter while Calzaghe is mediocre in boxing skill, but depends on having one of the most unorthodox boxing styles probably in the last 40 years with an emphasis on stamina.
Ward would do to Calzaghe what a 10 year younger Hopkins would have done to Joe.

    Ward TKO 10

:patsch So you have made a comment and instantly had to back track .
So you dont think that fighting in different countries in Europe counts as abroad :patsch.
Who was Calzaghe supposed to fight at SMW outside of Europe when he was SMW champ? Do answer. He agreed to fight Hopkins who decided against it.
So tell me what SMW was Calzaghe to have fought outside of Europe?

What all these fools seem to forget is that Calzaghe has been retired years and still casting a shadow over Ward, Froch, Hopkins, The SMW and LHW division.
Wards best win is unwell, double vision suffering rusty Kessler, who Calzaghe beat when undefeated and prime. If you look at Wards top 5 wins, 2 are Calzaghe victims already. Ward is stuck in a division fighting Calzaghes leftovers from when Calzaghe was old and past best and suddenly Ward is supposed to be a great living off past best Calzaghes victims and Calzaghe not so good :patsch:lol:, beating them when prime .
What top prime SMW has Ward fought?
What undefeated world champ has Ward fought?
At SMW Calzaghe still holds wins over 2 of the current top 10 and a victim of Calzaghes beat the #1 and is Wards best win.
At LHW Calzaghe beat Hopkins and had Hopkins hanging on, yet Hopkins is still a top LHW that some feel could beat Stevenson and who became champ after Calzaghe retired.
Calzaghe still hangs over those divisions years after retiring.
    Easy Calzaghe win

the states is half a continent on its own, not that you'd notice.

plus ward in only halfway through his career, so you cant comment on ward. but we can comment on failey calzaghe, cant we...

You are correct that Wards career is still going, but Ward is in a division where there are no real top SMWs and where his best win is a Calzaghe victim. That says it all.
You are correct that the states is a big place, but dont note how Ward was in a competition where he was the only fighter from the original line up not to be an away fighter, so I dont think anyone could comment on Calzaghe when he was away many times

:patsch Wrong again Herol. This is why you are a joke to me.
Only around half of Calzaghes world title fights were in Wales let alone Cardiff. Run along *****

Anyone outside of Europe, he spent his entire career in the small UK and once did he fight a few feet away in Germany. Point is you people who say Ward never fights outside his comfort zone, look at your champion who waited until his last 2 fights to fight two fighters who were past their prime away from where he liked to fight. US is twice as big as Europe.:patsch:hi:

I'd give the edge to Calzaghe. I think his speed, work-rate and adaptability would cause Ward problems. Very close fight.

Once again answer the question and stop ducking like a *****:patsch

I would point out Calzaghe agreed to fight Hopkins in America only for Hopkins to change his mind. Forget that. Or did you not know that?

Who was Calzaghe supposed to fight at SMW outside of Europe when he was SMW champ? Do answer. He agreed to fight Hopkins who decided against it.
So tell me what SMW was Calzaghe to have fought outside of Europe?

Now dont duck the questions because it makes you look weak. Cant wait for your answer though
