He would duplicate what hopkins did and do it better which would be duplicating what he did to Kessler since kessler and pavlik are pretty much the same fighters

Ward by late TKO or one-sided UD.

Ward is too fast & elusive for Pavlik.

Wards style is kryptonite to guys like Pavlik. Pavlik is extremely dangerous to anybody who'll exchange with him, and as Paul williams doesn't have the hit and run style I'd favour pavlik over him, but Ward and probably Dirrell too are both to elusive for Pavlik.

More elusive for head hunters than people that are willing to take the body shots. Dirrell made Froch and Abraham both look like amateurs as they kept swinging for the head when they had him on the ropes. You can move the head faster than you can move the rest of the body.

Pavlik has a puncher's chance (Ward's chin isn't that great, it just hasn't been tested lately), but there's no reason Ward couldn't just execute Hopkins' game plan. Ward even fights similar to Hopkins stylistically. Unless Kelly really was only at 60% against Hopkins, I suspect Ward would win in a walkover.

Probably because there aren't any decent fighters at middleweight. Even you have to know that the middleweight division right now is weak to historical levels. It's improving slowly, but Pavlik will be gone by the time the up and comers are ready to make noise. Even now, I'd give Golovkin and Pirog decent chances to beat him, and in another year or two, N'Jikam, Jacobs and Korobov would probably be on that level as well.

Korobov better improve his jab over what I saw him using on the under card in Pavlik/Espino.

I wouldn't say 60%, but he really didn't have 5% to lose against a fighter like Hopkins. As I've pointed out numerous times, watch between rounds when Kelly has a foot of mucus hanging from his nose. It doesn't take a medical report to figure that one out.

Pavlik would get beat pretty bad. Possibly stopped. Its probably the worst style matchup for Pavlik. Its like Hopkins but dirtier younger and faster.

Ward would win by UD. If Pavlik didn't get stopped by Hopkins, he won't get stopped by Ward.
