I know I know "does he even fight?," . At some point you have to get over the fact Ward beat your fav fighter. First of all I picked Kovalev to stop bhop via bodyshot, but Bhop picked off a lot of thoughs shots with his elbow. Some landed and I'm sure he was pissing blood this morning. The advantage Ward has that makes this fight interesting is that he knows how to come forward and take away your space, smother punches and land his shots on the inside. Yes Ward does hold on the inside briefly, but he works out of all is holds instead of waiting for refs to break it up. His footwork allows him to jump in and out of range, but I will admit he doesn't have Bhops chin. I don't have to say what Kovalev's advangtages are cause that's a giving, but if you have the young legs to bate him to overreach you can tag him. Nip picking a great fighter like Kovalev I will say his only weakness is his balance, you can get flash knockdowns and even stun him when he's off balance, and they score either way. Just and observation no fan boy ****.
**** of.............. ward would get knocked the **** out he does not have a better chin then Bernard
Ward will get a pass for his next 2-3 fights because the length of inactivity. Ward is never going anywhere near Kovalev, never going to happen.
ward got badly hurt by darnel....................ahahhahahah...........................kov would put him in a stretcher .....................ward chin is nothing compared to bhop
For ward to agree to fight kovalev , ward will want the fight to be in his home town with his relatives as referee and judges
Pretty much. Ward is faster, better defensively and better at cheating. Kovalev is bigger and more powerful. Both are very good fighters overall.
HBO: "Fight Kovalev at 175" Ward: "What about GGG at 168?" HBO: "It's not happening." Ward: "I'm going to Showtime."
IMO Ward-Kovalev is about 60-40 in favour of Ward, I think Kovalev is biggest threat to him now around the weight.
"Does he even fight?" is a real thing until Ward actually fights again. Then you have Virgil Hunter on video talking about 2 tune ups before anything else. 2 fights is another year of Ward's career.
