Andre Ward vs. Lucian Bute at SMW

Bute is better equipped than Froch to pull that off. Just a few thing that Bute has an advantage over Froch when facing Ward -

*Power
*Footwork
*Boxing IQ

No Knock on Froch who holds other advantages over Bute, i honestly dont begrudge anyone who picks Ward over Bute in this fight, see my post after my pick.:good

Before the Ward-Froch fight, in a similar poll , Bute was way ahead , winning it. Now, people seem to think otherwise.

What I seem to remember with Bute/Andrade 2 was Bute leaning against andrade with the right side of his body, and then winding up his patented left upper to the body. That pretty much was the whole fight. One punch. If you somehow think Ward will not see that coming a mile away (Bute literally telegraphs when he is going to do it) then you obviously dont know ****. It will take exaclty one counter from Ward when Bute tries this, and then Bute will run for the whole fight.

And dont worry. The fight will happen, and I will have this bookmarked to make you look like a fool every year for 5 years.

 

Bute is overated.. Who has he beat??? Ward will be a step to far for him becoz his gno go 4rm fighting bums to fighting the best smw in world.

 

Bute put Andrade 2 times to the floor one to the head and the secound like you say. Peoples are saying that Bute uppercut to the body is deadly because it's sneaky , personaly i don't see that punch being telegraphied

Andre Ward by decision. Bute has never faced somebody with his speed, technique, or ability to adjust. Could see it being a close fight due to Bute's power advantage though.

 

Ward by close decision. Tough fight for both men.

 

The only fight he truly telegraphed it trying to end it early was vs Brinkley.

Bute's head movement and low right hand will have Ward pop into the pocket with short hooks & arm locks, true. It doesn't mean Bute can't time him coming in, smother a shot and land a power left of his own. If you think that just can't happen, you obviously don't know ****.

Also, if you actually believe "see Bute-Andrade I for how to beat Bute", you obviously don't know ****.

I find this a very hard fight to predict, my mind changes all the time about who I think will win, its very close to 50-50 for me. But I'll be rooting for Bute ESPECIALLY if he pick up his (or his promotors) balls and travel to the US to fight Ward. :yep
