I said the UK because UK fans tend to appreciate technical fighters more. Hopkins was robbed in Canada. He could fight in Canada but he doesn't like fighting outside of Oakland . If Ward wants to become a ppv star then he needs to change his persona or change his style. He has the attributes unlike Bradley. But Ward isn't going to change his style to please the fans. He just wants to win.

Ward fighting Bika's fight = proving a point? Come on man. If that's the most plausible explanation in your eyes, rather than Bika's style & intent to fight mostly in the pocket, I don't know what to say. Was Pirog playing possum in his last fight, too?

Ward showed excellent ring IQ vs Kessler. Not taking that away from him. For a fighter who hates getting hit and who likes to talk about the merit of a good defense, he sure didn't look impressive fighting Bika and Abraham. They could have been shutouts based on how he handled Kessler, but they weren't.

Based on what exactly? Bute put the pedal to the metal in rounds 10-11-12 against pressure fighter Johnson because he could afford it.

If you seriously think Bute has trouble handling pressure, I have zero respect for your boxing knowledge. :think

If you don't know Barker and don't see that he came into the Martinez fight with a great gameplan, you can't rate that win. Not our problem.

 

I've seen him almost KOed by a journeyman so it's not out of the realm of the possibility for Bute to KO him

 

You know what I meant. Basically Ward wont fight that much outside California.

 

SOB Ward refused to fight in the tournament unless he got all his fights in his home town. All the other fighters have had to travel. SOB would not allow Bute to fight in his personal tournament. SOB's best punch is his billy goat head butt which is legal for him and only him, ask SOB's ref..............

 

Ward uses all the tricks vs Bute... Good Defence for one.. Virgil usally comes up with a excellent plan for Ward to stay Away from his opponents strenths..

1st Ward Stays away from the uppercut to the body by switching and keeping range with a stiff Jab..

2nd Ward evaluates the holes in Butes game from the first 3 round of trying to catch up to him with counters, sets the nessasary traps to score off of Bute tendancies from the first 3 rounds...

3rd Ward Rounds 5-8 continue to contol distance, use the jab and make Bute Pay for over agression.. and continue to stay up on the cards..

Lastly if Ward can control the outside game then he may go inside to stay away from the Bute Power shots and work the body to finish.. Ward can tie up and make a mess of things in close, he may try to use this as a way to bleed out the clock for a victory..

Ward makes a living off of fustrating fighters.. It doesn't always work but His ring I.Q allows him to try and be successful at a # of things.. Obviously not taking a lot of clean punches and punishment helps as well..

Bute is a dangerous Puncher with speed.. Don't look for Ward to find out how hard Bute hits.. look for Ward to game his way to victory.. As long as he doesn't get hit with something he doesn't see (the same goes for any fighter) he has a Great Chance of comming out on top..

He can take a punch.. Miranda rights, Abrahamn power Jabs... He doesn't put himself in the range to get hit with good shots.

Soon Carl Froch will find this out.. I see Ward going more offensivly against Froch

you have this saved on your computer and copy paste it everytime you see Ward and Bute name in a thread?i read this bunch of crap at least 3 times before.you forgot to mention Ward will take Bute in deep waters before drowning him.I bet all idiots who have no clue and read your post actually admire you for your vast boxing knowleadge but i find your analyze hilarious at most.

 

P4P rating is completely subjective and can be based on anything. If you base it on who beats who, skills, ect, its hard to argue with Ward being that high.

 

call your man ward and tell him to take the fight if its so easy, that being said do some research as to see how many offer have bin made to bute to take his belt from him and come back and claim what you claim.:deal
