Ward. I reckon it would of been a decent fight. Froch just steamrolled him but Ward wouldnt of he would of allowed Bute the chance to work but would be in control most or all the time.
I'd pick Ward to win, but as usual the prima donna didn't want to fight a quick hard hitting southpaw with decent skills
Ward would have dominated him, it's a shame Ward didn't have the insight to take the fight when it mattered.
Back at that time I favoured Bute. Bute lost to Froch and many think that means Ward would have won, but I am not convinced Ward would have beaten undefeated confident Bute and I dont think Ward would have been able to blast through Bute like Froch did. People forget that Ward fought fatigued travelling Froch who had been on the road for 5 of his last 6 fights, where as Bute was facing rejuvenated Froch who was at home. Home advantage does tend to play a big part. After Bute lost to Froch he didnt seem the same and I think could have lost to several fighters, but at the time during the S6 I would have picked Bute for sure
I have always said this. If Ward had fought Bute back then he would have beaten him worse than PBF beat Gatti.:deal Ward is just mentally tough for Bute and would have walked right through him.
he fought Dawson at a weight where Dawson hadn't fought at in 6 years, it's common knowledge Dawson was severely drained coming into the weigh in Bute would have been much more legit win, seeing as Bute was a full fledged SMW at the time
Better resume and more skilled. Andrade had Bute on ***** st and had him beat if not for a crooked judge who gave Bute a 30 count and kept yelling at Andrade to get back in the corner.
Bute. Ward was scared of him and i trust Wards judgement over some idiots over the internet. He knew Bute would have his ways with him, this is why he ducked him.
