More wishful thinking. The same Bute who melted down in grand fashion against Froch.:rofl The same Bute who went life and death with Andrade and had to be saved by a hometown ref in the first fight. This is just wishful thinking and if that fight would have happened back then you wouldn't have put a dime on Bute against Ward. The same Ward who ran through the Super 6 like a knife through hot butter while Bute was sitting on the sidelines he would have beaten the **** outta Bute it would have been his easiest fight out of all the elite 168 pound fighters.
Boone won that fight on scorecards too, it was an absolut shame how the judges gave their olympic gold medalist the win

That's why he moved up to 175 and will face Kovalev later this year. Like I've always said Ward beats Bute worse than PBF beat Gatti. You can't draw up a scenario for a mentally weak guy like Bute to beat a mentally tough guy like Ward.

Ward would have thoroughly outclassed any version of Bute, IMHO. Bute was one of the most grossly overrated fighters in the history of these forums. :smoke
Don't worry Ward has plenty of power to stop the mentally weak Bute in his tracks. The way that guy froze up against Froch was one of the most bizarre things I've ever seen in the ring.:rofl
