    Michael Spinks easily.
    Dominated 175 and beat everyone in that division, moved up to HW and handed Larry Holmes his first loss and beat him twice.

    I feel like Ward is similar in that he dominated 168 moved up and beat Kovalev twice

    Spinks ranks higher at LHW and p4p.

    Spinks was lineal at LHW and HW.

    22lbs heavier Holmes x 2, Qawi, Eddie Muhammed, Johnson, 29lbs heavier Cooney, Lopez and Davis, are better wins than Kovalev x 2, Kessler, Froch, Dawson, Abraham, Bika and Barrera.

    I like Andre Ward and he could certainly compete at 175 but not enough for me to favor him over Spinks.

    Spinks and it shouldn’t even be a debate. He went through a a very stacked LHW division and then moved up and beat a consensus top 5 ATG HW with absolutely everything to fight for being 48-0 going into the fight.

    How in the world is beating Kovalev comparable to beating an ATG in Holmes who outweighed Spinks by 20+ pounds ?
