i think this is a really good fight. gvozdyk is a spoiler just like ward, and it doesn't look like ward would be able to negate the pace of the fight because oleksandr's ring iq is so high. look at how he changes head slots when he throws mid range punches , look at how he resets out of his opponents punching range to upset their rhythm. i don't know who i got on this one

That's a potentially great match, and I gotta go with Gvozdyk here, not only can Gvozdyk be a spoiler and a rhythm breaker but he's also heavy handed as hell, has a really really great jab with both hands, is great at using angles, defensively Lomachenko like, and is masterful in finding his range and cutting the distance like Kovalev, he has as good a chance at beating Ward as Kovalev in my opinion.

    Ward wins easy.

Ward will rule 175 in due time.

    I'm looking at it objectively.

Ward will dominate this class without much trouble.

Son of God is too much for them brothers. :yep

Ain't no one can handle that man's in fighting. Did you see them uppercuts he ripped on Dawson's mandible? Those uppercuts would have knocked Vitali out. :yep

Oakland I assume? With no additional testing or the fight announce at 5 weeks notice?

Well let's be honest fights not happening any other way, so Ward to win in what reality SHOULD be a no contest.

Ward is one of the clean fighters in the sport, along with Mayweather/Jack/Broner/Danny Garcia/Wilder/Usyk etc. :bart

Far tougher than Barrera even, he brings far more variables to the table.

    Ward would demoralise Gvozdyk.

Wait until after he gets by Barrera before anointing him the new King of Light Heavyweight. Gvozdyk is huge, he could easily be a CW and has a big reach advantage. And has a damn good jab. He could be the one who ends up demoralizing Ward.
