The Nail crucifies and violently martyrs The Son Of God. I've always seen this as an easy win for Gvozdyk, he's a little bit better in every department than Kovalev, with the exception of power, and even that's debatable, and scumbag Andre needed two fights to beat him unclean. Gvozdyk's gas tank won't fail him like the Krusher's we just saw how much he had left in the 11th of a tense, nerve jangling, grueling match with a massive puncher, and that speaks volumes about his level of concentration and focus, and his ability to not wilt under pressure, it would be beautiful to see Ward trying to walk down The Nail, as the Nail fights off the backfoot making him miss, countering the **** out of SOG with that vicious straight right of his, until he catches him clean with it and drops him like a sack of potatoes. But alas, SOG probably wants no part of someone who can match his skillset, that's faster, more accurate and heavier handed. He'll realize the risk, and swerve him like the plague.

Sadly for Ward, movies aren't real life, so that's where the comparison ends. In this version, Drago beats Rocky's ass too.

You forgot to mention that Kovalev's own trainer was talking to Team Ward and praying for Kovalev's downfall.

Ward would never take this fight, horrible risk/reward ratio and he's getting old too. He wants fights which either give him a lot of money, or fights he knows he will win for certain ... this is neither

And if he did? Team Ward are meticulous in his preparation.

You think so? I dontnknow man, close call for me but one thing im sure of is this fight would end in a T/KO. How do you think Ward and Gvozdyk do against Alvarez?

Agree 10/10. I would do an avatar bet. If Ward thinks he can win, so do I and will risk looking goofier than usual to prove it! Woot!

    Make the fight!!:boxing1

Lol!! :D Ward would get cracked harder than he did against Kovalev. Mainly because Gvozdyk would set up the shots better and give Ward fits with his footwork.

Gvozdyk also would have a trainer that actually gives a **** about him and wouldn’t be chatting to Wards sleazy team about possible moves.

The Nail KO’s Ward within 9. This isn’t agenda driven Hollywood.

Would slightly favour Ward to call on his experience and ring savvy, shenanigans included, to get the W. Gvozdyk is polished and prime with no glaring weaknesses but Ward has a Hopkins-like ability to stifle his opponents main offence. Gvozdyk is a stud in his own right though and looks a cut above the rest at 175, he has everything required to defeat Ward, either way I don't envisage either being stopped.

I'm no great fan of Ward but grudgingly respect his skill and brain. Gvozdyk has good feet and technique but he stands in front of his opponents too much. If Ward looks anything like his best I think he wins by UD. Ward is a nightmare, tactically at least for most LHW.

I have to go with Ward. He just seems to find a way to win. Hopefully he stays retired. These boxers retiring and then making comebacks is getting old to me.
