Andre Ward vs Oleksandr The Nail Gvozdyk

I would be shocked if Ward came out of retirement. I think he fuels many of these rumors to satisfy his ego and stay on the publicity radar.

If by some stretch of the imagination Ward did unretire it would be a disaster because mentally he's done.

 

Ward is a master at taking away an opponent's best weapon. At 175 he had a little pop, too. I like the Nail, I really do, and Father Time is on his side here, but a good version of Ward is too fundamentally sound for him. Ward by decision in a good fight.

If Father Time has caught up to Andre, I can see the Nail outworking him to a decision.

 

Ward might have trouble with beterbiev, and would lose against bivol.
But he beats gvozdyk comfortably. Gvozdyk didn't look good, wasted movement, stiff upper body and little headmovement. Was getting hit too much by stevenson

Yeah, Kovalev beat Ward the first time, but got robbed.

How many robberies is Ward going to be a recipient of before people admit he is a protected fighter? Alvarez did a better job disposing of Kovalev, while Ward required getting a gift decision or destroying Kovalevs pubic area, thanks to corrupt officials.

 

But he's just 34 years old! If he really wants it and is serious about it it's quite doable.

The low blow excuse is just that, an excuse. Ward wooped his ass fair and square. There were maybe 2 low blows the whole fight while Ward was landing like 5 clean body shots just about every round. Ill tell any of you that you're liars. I watched that fight several times and the low blow excuse is utter nonsense. get over it. ward is better than Kovalev and he proved it.

Gvozdyk is a smarter fighter than Kovalev and has just as much pop in that right as Kovalev does. Better footwork too. That makes you a little uncomfortable doesn’t it?? Good
