Via Twitter - Virgil Hunter on Andre Ward vs Paul Smith: "Smith is who we want and I'm told it's a done deal."

Fine it's a living body in the ring with Ward. Thought there was talk of getting oosthuizen at one point which would have been better but whatever

**** fight wards not putting his belt on line and it's at catch weight ... WBC should strip him

It's not at a catch weight ince they're are both SMWs, and the WBA will not sanction the fight because Smith is not in top 15.

Anthony Dirrell has the WBC belt, not Ward.

Paul Smith would be an absolutely pathetic opponent (if true).

Easy nights work for Ward. Smith is no threat whatsoever, already been KO'ed by Groves and DeGale. Ward will need to face a good opponent in his next fight or his critics will have a field day.

    Smith is pretty decent.

I want to see how Ward is in his return.

    Let's go!

Not the worst tune-up opponent in the world, but not that great either.

Paul Smith just lost a couple title fights to Arthur Abraham. Geale recently lost a title fight to Golovkin. Both Smith and Geale just got fights with Roc Nation fighters (Ward and Cotto).

Does Roc Nation have any more champs? Sakio Bika just lost a couple times. I'm sure he'd like another shot.

It's a decent comeback fight considering everything. Ward to absolute school hom though. Just glad to see positive signs of a return
