Hell no Ward is the lineal champ and the most talented boxer at SMW he should not be fighting someone Groves KTFO in 2 rounds. Chaves is levels below Ward and his first fight back after a long lay off is WBC 4 Fonfara. Ward should be fighting someone at least in the top 20. That's why he's getting hate. No one expects him to fight an elite level boxer but he should be fighting an actual a contender. A tune up is supposed to be a fight to test his level Paul Smith does nothing for him. He's lost twice to an old past it Abraham who was never relevant at SMW.

 

How do you know Ward is the same from 2 years ago? A tuneup is a tuneup, who cares as long as he gets back in the ring.

 

I got no choice but to accept the tuneup obviously, doesn't make it a good fight though or a good tuneup.
