Andre Ward vs prime Sven Ottke

Ward loses by DQ in the first round by attempting to punch Ottke.

 

Ottke was past his best against Reid, but what difference does it make where Ottke fought? How often has Ward fought outside of America because hes the only Super 6 fighter to get home advantage in his first 2 fights, and I read hes getting it again fir his 3rd fight.

 

Alot of the fighters Ottke fought were stronger & harder punchers, some were even fast like Mundine yet Ottke always found a way to beat them. I think Ottke may be faster on foot and wouldnt allow himself to get in a brawl or a mauling fight. I think Ottke would circle Ward and pick him off with light but effective punching.
I was surprised with some of the things the ref let Ward do in there against Green but still even if he was aloud to hold and hit Ottke would be too clever for that. You dont win 2 world titles and have 21 title defences if your not able to cope in the ring, and Ottkes experience would have been too great
