I didn't see the fight but it sounded like a 117-111 or 116-112 fight for Ward but the scores were 120-108 and 118-110 (twice). Fair assessment?
There were a lot of close, butt-ugly rounds with not a lot to choose. Overall, Ward did the more effective work...in between the dirty shoving match perpetrated with equal guilt by both 90% of the time. His left hook became a factor late.
You just proved again that you're a little boy, Brit. You were wrong. Period. :rofl You wrote 2 thousand lines saying Ward would ko Bika. I don't call that a few words. I call that a statement. A false one. I know it's nothing, because it happens to you pretty often.
Ward's tactics are going to hurt him when a referee starts taking points off for them. Bute will smash him, b/c he will not touch him in Oakland where he is allowed to do that stuff.
What people fail to realize is that Bika is a dirty fighter and Ward beat Bika at his own game. Don't get it twisted Ward can box he can also adjust to all styles that's what last night's win proved. Bika came in and tried to make it a rough fouled filled fight early and was beaten at his own game. If Bika had tried to box with Ward he would have been schooled.:deal Andre Ward is the most complete fighter in this tourney and that's the reason why he'll win it.
They both should have had points taken off, and Ward quite a few, but as in the Kessler fight, the referee was on Ward's side. Andre ward is not going to beat Lucian Bute from the outside, and he will not be allowed to do that dirty stuff outside of Oakland. He not only rams with his head he holds and hits. You can do that in a boxing match.
It wouldn't have mattered if that fight was in Denmark, Ward had Kessler's number he proved in that fight that Kessler couldn't adjust and was thoroughly thrashed for his efforts. I agree Bute will be a much harder match up for him but the guy who I'd tip to beat him is Dirrell who would give him hell from the outside because of his length and hand speed damn shame both are so close and neither want the fight.
