    There's not really much point in scoring, the only way Barrera can win is through a punch, he doesn't have the skills to probably even take a round.

    Ward vs Barrera scorecard
    R1 10-9 Ward. Ward controlling pace keeping it slow. Picking shots and timing Barrera.
    R2 10-9 Barrera. Ward landing more jabs but Barrera doing a little better and landed a decent power shot. Toss up round either given for Ward's controlling tempo or Barrera's aggression.
    R3 10-8 Ward. The two begin to mix it up in close and initially Barrera is having the better of it but Ward knocks him down changing the momentum of the round.
    R4 10-9 Ward. Barrera is having trouble lading cleanly. Ward pot shotting with the jab. Barrera not sure what to do.

    40-35 Ward

    More hooks. Straight rights on the body to chase Barrera off when he encroaches, giving chase with another hook. Barrera is doubling his jab, skimming Ward's jaw with it taking bold steps in, stance turned, attacking sidelong. Ward is rolling his shoulders and countering inside with pot shot jabs. Late hit just after the bell.
