actually he did commit. He said "not if, when".

That is an existential, total commitment to the fight.

Was/Is Barerra in your top 15 light heavyweights?

I think he would beat #3 lightheavy Bernard Hopkins. Outwork him.

Some other guys he also might beat: Pascal, Chilemba, Brahmer. All 50-50. I favor him over Pascal.

Ward beats all guys who nothing throw only looping punches. Pascal, Barrera etc. Ward's conditioning could be a little better. He looked very tired again in between rounds. Virgil wanted the stoppage. Barrera's head was right there to be hit.

There's a good reason why fighters don't negotiate and make deals with specific dates and purses in post-fight interviews. They don't hash out details with Max Kellerman after getting hit in the the head for 12 rounds.

    Can you appreciate why?

An even Older Hopkins is Kovalev's best win

OK. Ward dominated the fight. Did what I did not think he could or would do and my hat is off to him. Yes, I feel, deservedly, profoundly embarrassed. It is ok is anyone want to say IDKSAB. Boy,,, sure feel that way tonight. Big props to Ward and his team.

Barrera left his footwork and boxing ability in Cuba if he ever had any. Ward really exposed him, then again when your best opponents are Karo Murat, and Jeff Lacy, ummm yeah.

I'd like to see Ward take out another one of the up and coming guys. Kovalev also. It would be good to see Kovalev in with a young, fresher guy after beating on Hopkins, Mohammedi, and Pascal twice.
