    I picked Barrera to beat Ward, I can't stand Ward, I was passionately rooting against him.


    I scored it 119-107 Ward.

    Cuba is the second most successful nation in amateur boxing at the olympics, behind the US. Dominated at WSB this year too.

    You can't expect there to be loads of great Cuban professional boxers when professional sports are banned in Cuba. The number of guys who do escape from there and end up in the professional ranks is also just a (small) % of their best. I'd guess that proportionally, a Cuban professional has a much higher likelihood of competing for a major world title than any other nationality, for obvious reasons.

    Please watch the fight yourself and then get back to us.

    I was hoping Barrera would make it competitive, but it honestly wasn't.

    Barrera did land some decent stuff but still lost clearly. Ward won 9 rounds minimum (I had it 10-2 with a KD for what it's worth).
