You haven't very much. You should check out Chagaev-Browne far more entertaining than it should have been, research Martin-Joshua a little bit that seems like it would be right up your alley.

Will keep a look out for those as I begin following more closely again.

Depending on how interesting the fight is tomorrow, I may try a recap vid.

Sullivan should have performed better, I think. Or at least I believe he could have been more effective had he not been a willing participant in Ward's efforts to neutralize his jab.

I think he let the event and his nerves get to him, had he been less tense and looser with his punches and at least tried throwing in combination and doubling or tripling up his jab or try an uppercut or two, he might have had a little more success. He didn't look himself tonight at all, granted some of that was Ward making him look bad, but I could tell in round 1 his head wasn't in the right place, similar to the was Wlad looked against Fury and Manny looked against Mayweather early.

Before you wrote this, as I was writing my previous post, the words of Jack Lowe "double up the jab" echoed through my head. Except in Barrera's case, I think it could have maybe done more good than it would have for poor Kelly on that ill-fated October night over 7 years ago.

Ward DID neutralize Barrera's jab. But he didn't entirely shut it down. There were moments - specifically in the 4th I think, where Barrera's jab was finding it's way through with more frequency, even if they weren't flush.

But it reminded me of Mosley being baffled by Floyd's hand speed more than anything.

Its a pity Jack doesn't train any relevant fighters now, I always enjoyed his corner sound bites.

Barrera did a **** poor job, Abel should have smacked him around in the corner and gave him a "we're fireman" speech, maybe that would have helped.:yep

You should do some research on Vyacheslav Shabranskyy he'll probably be Ward's next fight, he works for Golden Boy and has been on HBO a few times.

Although I'd prefer it to be Gvozdyk, but Ward should avoid him, since he can beat Ward, and in my opinion would.

I have to have at least 1 outlandish pick every 3 or 4 months or so.:yep

Barrera would be ripped to pieces by Gvozdyk.:deal

Well I hope Ward has taught you not to make him your target for outlandish picks.:nono

Maybe Barrera and Gvozdyk should fight next.

Barrera was slow and low skilled. This outcome was obvious.
