Prime Joe Calzaghe. Mikkel Kessler in a rematch. Carl Froch in a rematch. Prime Roy Jones Jr. How would fights against these play out for Andre Ward?
IMO: Calzaghe and Kessler would both lose, if they fought him an America (headbutting), but if outside of America, I see a hard victory to Calzaghe and can't really decide on how it will turn out between Ward and Kessler. Froch is great, but I don't think his style works that well against that of Ward... As for Roy Jones Jr., I believe he would defeat Ward, no matter where they fought.
Nah, his headbutting and only-fighting-in-America attitude is, aswell as the fact that he calls himself Son of God, however, he is a great technical fighter with a tight defense.
Prime Joe Calzaghe. - Joe Mikkel Kessler in a rematch. -in Oakland Ward,in Copenhagen Kessler Carl Froch in a rematch. - Ward Prime Roy Jones Jr. - Roy
I agree on all points, except the first one. Outside of USA, Joe Calzaghe would win, but in USA, he would have to deal with gameshattering headbutts all the time. I don't think he would be able to keep up his concentration under those circumstances...
Joe would tap that ass.Ward has never fought an undefited fighter.he feasted with leftovers, mostly Joe's
Regardless of venue this is my opinons on the outcomes I think Jones - Ward would be very close, maybe even with Ward completely neutralising Jones' offence, and winning a decision, but for arguments sake I say Jones would offer too much in the form of combos and would be landing on Ward alot, just genrally outworking him. Potentially stopping him. Calzaghe could outwork him, but his style is too messy and Ward would be tagging him whenever he comes in. Ward would win a decision. Kessler I dont think would be able to bring anything new to the table in a rematch and would lose on a descision Froch, again dosnt bring anything new to the rematch.. Ward has seen him upclose and the fight would be just an extra 12 rounds of the first fight. Everything going the same.
