BTW I'm not saying Ward stoppage. Although I believe it is possible, its not likely. I'm saying I'm pretty confident Ward is going to buzz him in this fight, maybe numerous times. Froch has been hurt in pretty much all his fights at world class precisely because he does take clean shots at times. Taylor is nothing like a noted puncher and nor is Dirrell. So to say Ward can't hurt him is naive at best.

All this crap about so and so can't hurt this guy, and this guy will walk through another and be aggressive. Very rarely happens, nobody likes taking punches to that degree. It's a rare breed that will walk through punches consistently, and Froch ain't one of them. Skills are what matter and thats where this fight is going to be won rather than chin/power ratios.

 

Frochs team should make a big deal of Ward's headbutts in the run up and also speak to the ref about it on the night, similar to what team Mayweather did with Cortez on the night of the Hatton fight.

It may lower the number of 'accidental' headbutts coming Froch's way.

I still pick Ward to win on points. I just dont see Froch getting to him enough.

I'm currently 90% Ward UD and 10% Ward stoppage. It's on. But not much. Like Liverpool's title challenge. :good

 

Some of those right hands that Johnson landed on Froch would have sparked most light heavys in my opinion. I agree that Ward could rattle Froch due to handspeed, and accuracy, but I havn't seen anything from Ward up 'till now to suggest he would stop Carl.

I don't really see what all the fuss is about with Ward. Yeah, he's good but I reckon he's overrated (mainly in the USA).

Can't see Ward even attempting to go for the stoppage. He saw up close last night what happens if you tag Froch, he comes straight back at you with lots of hard punches and Ward will be in and out before then. I can see a wide UD for Ward, but a TKO/KO caused by punches alone? Ain't happening.

 

ahh ****,im going for a froch win. i watched him last night and thought 'ward is gonna kick his ass,but after thinking about it and watchin a few rounds of ward,i think froch could sicken him.

you can dance around all night and hit someone,but ward thinks he is the dogs,he hits froch for a few rounds and he don't move him,he is gonna start doubting himself,trust me,ive been there,ive looked into the eyes of the devil himself:thumbsup ,ive been twated around the ring,and it was lucky it only went 3 rounds,cos they was looking really worried,like"**** me,what else can i hit this ****er with",i would of stopped them all if it went further:bbb

 

This place has gone downhill, to be honest.

With a nickname of "Son of God" I would expect him to be truly amazing. I just think he's very good.

Although he hasn't really done anything wrong so far, I just thing he should have looked better doing it. Take the Bika fight for instance; everybody says that Bika makes things awkward for any fighter. Fair point, but Ward isn't any fighter is he? He's meant to be special, SOG, etc, so he should have looked better in my opinion.

I think its Son of God as in he believes in God, and according to his beliefs everybody is a son of God. Rather than believing he's actually the Son of God and walks on water etc.
