The S6 was very overated to me.
Kessler had been beaten by Calzaghe and rusty, then found to have eye problems and never looked as good after Calzaghe beat him.
Froch is an older SMW who is slow and had lost to Kessler, not to mention, looking lucky against A Dirrell, and a MD against G Johnson didnt look good.
I cant see that the era is stronger. I saw a post from a Calzaghe nuthugger who put forward a very good counter which was hard to argue against, showing an era that Calzaghe fought in and it was full of good SMWs where Calzaghe beat the top ones and then showed todays era and the next top man after Ward is Kessler that an old Calzaghe beat, after that the fighters like Froch have lost to a shell of that fighter and the other Ring top 10 SMWs have done little and not established themselves.
The front page noted Wards big wins and 2 of those were in fairness fighters Calzaghe beat when past 30, so I dont like to knock a retired fighter.
Unlike Calzaghe, Ward hasnt had undefeated champs or fighters to beat and missed out badly on Bute, which would have shot him through the roof.
The great thing for Ward is that he did beat the top SMW in Kessler which was a top win.
Ward has shown that not only is he a great fighter, but also a great businessman in that he has made it to the top and not had to fight Bute or Dirrell and the rest has happend around him.
Time is right for him to strike and make his name

wasn't Cotto ranked number 1 at 154 when Floyd beat him?

I'll answer for you, yes he was.
Wasn't Ortiz ranked number 3 only behind Floyd and Pac? Yes
Wasn't Mosley ranked number 3 p4p and number 1 at WW? Yes he was.

Andre Ward can become a great fighter. The Super Middleweight division has almost no history, so he can become one of the best. It would be much more difficult if he was in another division.

He is 28 and has several title defenses. His best wins are Froch and Kessler.

At that age, btw, Mayweather had many more title defenses in the Jr. Lightweight division. He also had a belt and defenses in the Lightweight division, and a title at Jr. Welterweight. He had beaten Genaro Hernandez, Jesus Chavez, Diego Corrales, Jose Luis Castillo.

Mayweather > Ward at the same stage of their careers.

Great boxer with a sick home boy record and a sometimes very tiring style to watch..

Ward should come to Europe and out of his big comfort zone to win my respect as a boxer.

Fight Kessler in Denmark or fight your good friend Dirrell

Ward is good, Dawson is not so good. This is a mismatch. Ward beating Dawson does not add to his resume that much - Kessler & Froch will always be better wins.

    Ward is utterly dominant.

He's my pick for the P4P in a couple years. Boxing is in good hands with him, he's a great guy outside the ring to carry our sport further.

Dude, I'm a huge Ward fan, but bring it down a notch. In the grand scheme of things, he hasn't done that much yet. He does have another level that a lot of people really haven't seen yet. He also has more power than he lets on. I've seen it personally as I've live in the bay area and have got to watch him progress.

    One fight at a time.

I am a joke because I like fighters with power and hate fighters with no power and thats why I dont put them high on atg list :huh than I am a joke for you

but as far as I am concerned light hitting guys like ottke, ward or pepp doesn't make my heart beat go like when I here Hagler, Duran or Tyson.
