Hunter is not a better boxer than Ward at all (it's the other way around of course), but I'd pick him against Ward due to the size difference.
well there was one named dirrell, and he wouldn't fight him. i do give ward credit ,he beat froch, was a fairly poor fight to watch but thats he's best win and a very good win. you know wards only 'way' of beating a decent fighter is to headbutt, wrestle and elbow, basically ward isn't a high skilled boxer. he drags boxers down to he's level and beats them with he's dirty experience, he can't actually outbox a decent boxer, which has already been proven.
A boxer with superior skills would never allow Ward to apply the so called dirty tactics because they would never provide Ward with the window to do so. Boxing is an ambiguous term with a flexible identity if you can influence a fight to fit your agenda then who's more skilled? Dirrel proved he was a mental midget after clearly being the more talented fighter vs Froch and Arthur yet fizzling out when hit with any sort of adversity.
Mate, your credibility was ruined a long time ago when you said Martin would easily KO Joshua LMFAOOOOOOOOOO
Ward resolves to MMA and Billy goating because he was getting outboxed by Kov and he had no answer for it. Ward looks good boxing against low skilled guys like Rodriguez, Abraham and Froch. Hunter's lateral movement and boxing was good against Usyk.
No, not in my opinion, I think a lot of these guys know that and are just exaggerating because they want to annoy you.
i absolutely love the notion that ward avoided dirrell...i love it....its too much tell me...now we know they are both friends right? when would that fight have made sense? should two unbeaten friends risk their 0 against each other when theres no money in it? ward, while known as an olympian, hadnt established much before the super 6....so much that he was not the favorite....were they supposed to make a fight, for really no money, while they were still young in their careers? they were two mid 20's prospects who had opportunities to be pushed and moved well.....if they had the chance to meet in the super 6 then we could have seen what would have happened....otherwise the only logical thing would be for those two guys build it up to the point where the fight made sense to both of them because they had maximized their potential was ward supposed to chase a fight with post super 6 dirrell? lmao
Amazing the hype a fighter gets when he is undefeated. Ward obviously is one of the best. His record attests to that but my God he is boring to watch. He has an amateurs mindset, do just enough to win, outpoint your opponent. I never enjoy watching him fight. I don't care what his record is. A lot of holding, clinching, down time. Boring. I also think Kovalev CLEARLY won that fight. People debating on whether Ward outpointed Kovalev in various rounds. Kovalev was the one who clearly won most of the fight and actually knocked Ward down and hurt him more than once. Ward, on the other hand, never hurt Kovalev. As to Usyk, decent fighter. May even take a title but not a special talent, like Lomachencko or Spence.
huh? floyd couldn't protect himself from dirty tactics against maidana he needed the referees helps, maybe he isn't skilled too according to you
Maidana had Floyd pinned to the ropes over 24 rounds and the ref did nothing to save Floyd. Maidana tried his best to Broner him how did that go?
thats probably true...if ward has a bad flu than golovkin has a shot...ward would need to be dehydrated and pissing out of butthole for that to happen.....but alas golovin swerves a healthy ward like has for years now
