Does Kovalev have to go ahead and agree to a 50/50 split for a fight with Ward sometime next year/18 months like GGG was going to have to agree to?
Ward is fighting the same tune ups just like he was always going to fight.
Kovalev has a fight lined up already, just like GGG did.
Personally, I think Kovalev will get the chance to sign a legit contract, when Ward is finished with his tune ups and actually ready to fight.

I don't think Kovalev could knock Ward out. Look at how 100 year old Hopkins was able to survive. Ward is the best out there, he needs to stop wasting his career.

Hopkins has one of the best chins, while Ward's chin is average at best.

lol Aren't you picking Fury over Klitschko? Ward has a much better chance of schooling Kovalev than Fury has of seeing the sixth round. Kovalev would probably win a street fight against Ward but this is boxing and skills matter.
