Andre Ward will get KTFO by Sergey Kovalev

Also I've not seen one good reason from people backing Ward as to how he'll win, as in, there's literally no ****ysis. It's usually just something like "he'll box him" which means **** all.

 

i dont think kova is much bigger than guys like froch and kessler...hes a little thicker...especially in the face.....but size wise i dont think hes anything ward hasnt seen in years of fighting at 168, sparring, and now getting ready for 175

i honestly cant see a single fighter on kovas list that i think would trouble ward....it is a new ballpark for ward but shouldnt be anything he cant handle...most swore he was a lhw anyway when they were giving reasons for lil g to duck him ..."oh hes a lhw anyway..he fought there in the olympics thats where he belongs not fair for lil g"

I dont really think anyone should have to explain to a fan how or why ward wins....you should already know how ward wins....he does what he does...he makes it ugly....wards style should be well known to you by now...i cant envision ward/hunter coming up with some sort of crazy gameplan that deviates from what they do

 

the only fighters who can beat kovalev, are the ones who can hurt him - stevenson, beterbiev.

ward hasnt got the chin of hopkins, hes getting his chinchecked.

i think a fighter who can punch kova accurately and make him miss...and frustrate him...can beat him....theres more than one way to skin a cat

all of some is sincere....also maybe very little of some could be sincere

 

Ward's bigger than Froch and Kessler IMO, they're not that big, Kovalev has a rugged, thick physique even for a LHW (even though he's not that tall).

But since Ward's facing a very different challenge here, I'm expecting people to give reasons as to why he wins, saying "he does what he does" is basically blind faith more than anything else, it's more about what you hope he does rather than what you think or know will happen based on the attributes of the respective fighter's in question.

ward is going to attempt to do what he does......nobody knows anything...nobody knows if what he does will be successful against kova....and vice versa...until we see it....youve been wrong before right? me too....

we know how ward fights....he wont change that...hes not going to come out and brawl....and hes not going to come out and act like andre dirrell againt curtis stevens either.....hes going to fight like andre ward

ward isnt looking at kova the way you and i would....ward has been in the game at the top level for years...hes been doing this for years....he has respect for kova no doubt as he prob does for most guys at that level.....but hes not looking at kova as anything special....

 

Why make a giant post you are not sure you believe in? Some would say that is pathetic.

 

he will need to really go all out bully on the stronger kovalev. i dont think anyone can stop kovalev landing cleanly in a 12round fight unless your a lhw floyd, which ward isnt. he needs to get sergeys' respect.
