Pep couldnt break an egg and hes one of the best fighters ever.

Boxing isnt just about punching power and knocking people out.

Andre Ward is a great fighter
He has beat everyone putted in front of him so far..
If he stopped fighting dirty and would travel (just a little bit) then i would be a fan..
(coming from a massive Kessler fan)

IF he ever choose to fight outside california, and travel to europe to fight. And fight without butting his opponents like he did to Kessler....Then we can talk about ELITE fighter. Not now...He dosent hit that hard,he is more a quick fighter trowing lots of punches. But KO power? NO..

he is a great fighter, but he NEEDS to travel...out off his comfortzone before i consider him ELITE.But he is a very smart good boxer,no doubt.
BUT these headbutts are completly dirty ****... and i wont be a fan before he stops that ****.

Hopkins hasnt finished a fight with one punch(or numerous) in the best part of a decade. Does anyone think any less of him? NO.

Surely the question should be 'will the Son of Sven ever fight outside his home country?'

The only problem I have with Ward is him being given an unfair advantage.

Other than that, I really enjoy watching him, he's a complete fighter, he can do it all, box on the outside, grind you down on the inside. Wherever he feels you're weak he's going to exploit you.

I just hate the clinching and headbutting! Ward would probably win those fight anyway without the dirty tactics! That prove that he smart but he still lack of exitement! We know in advance that his fight will last a full twelve rounds!

There were some headbutts in the Kessler fight, not one of them in the Abraham fight.

You guys are clinging on too hard to this "headbutt" bullcrap, he employed them perfectly in the Kessler fight, as did Holyfield, Bernard Hopkins and many more in some of their fights, its part of the game, deal with it.

Ward and his trainer have shown a remarkable ability to exploit a fighters weaknesses, he fights every fight different.

Can't put it all down to lack of power. Ward doesn't excite me personally. Bradley does moreso. Both have frenetic pacing. But despite all that output Ward is a safety first fighter. Bradley is a genuine risk taker. Hilarious to see how butt hurt the Kessler/Calzaghe nationalist types remain. This is an ALT bait thread of course. Still.
