Andre Ward, will he ever finish someone with a punch ?

"headbutt" bullcrap is illegal,no matter how well you think he employed them in the Kessler fight!!!
IF you think it´s okay to butt a fighter to 3 deep cut´s in a titlefight without the ref. mention ANYTHING.They might aswell make it legal to use the head,elbows ect. ect. Why do you think it´s illegal???

 

I don't say he isn't smart but he wont never be a mega star using those tactics! just look at the boxers you compare him with! B-hop need to come fight in Canada to pack the place! But this his showing that we know our boxing

 

They happen, much of it was Mikkel Kessler failing to realize he can't just fall in with his head up in the air like a freaking giraffe.

Kesslers attempts at left hooks vs Ward really told a story, Kessler's not much of a thinking fighter.

 

Dirty tactics on their own does not make or break a fighter in popularity, if it did Holyfield wouldn't have been the mega sensation he was.

Yes,they happen,but when they continue to land and breaking the opponents face without the referee stepping in,i call it dirty,illegal and if you watch the fight again,you will see kessler don´t "fall in with his head up in the air like a giraf :roll:

Let me set this straight ward punches hard enough to get his opponent respect and thats the diiferences, I rate ward highly, this is a young fighter maturing into superstardom, the knockouts will come, at them momnet he is sharpening his tool kit, and make no mistake, Andre ward is Elite!!

You haters should be glad Ward doesnt have KO power, or else all your Euro heros would all be in Ward's highlight KO reels

 

he isnt a knockout puncher. but he is undefeated so he must be doing something right. he picks you apart. just shows you how talented he is. even without severe power he wins pretty comfortably in every fight. he is continuing to grow so i wouldnt down more power down the line but for now he is doing pretty damn excellent.

 

When Ward fought Kessler he connected with an EPIC headbutt in the eight round. He gathered the strength of his whole body from the toes and dived in like a billygoat, as Larry Merhcant pointed out. An uglier scene has not been seen in the sport of boxing since Judah gav Money a good one in the nutters. Everyone in the audience dropped their jaw and was all like "Did he really DO that?"

Against AA he held and held and held, not to mention he did hit after the ref had stopped the action. Against Bika he held and held and held, and used headbutts and elbows and cried for the ref to save him when he felt bullied atsch:-(

Reality is, Ward is a cheater through and through, and he gets away with it by staying in Joakland. Hopkins and Holyfield can also be disgracefully cheaters, but rarely so much that the audience stops watching the fight and stick to their mobilephones. Stop prasing someone who relies on ugly spoiling and give creds to the real heroes of the sport.

 

Hes beaten everyone hes faced fairly convincingly.

Dont see why it matters whether hes a big puncher or not.

Even Kessler admitted the better man one. Headbutts happen. Get over it.
