If they are in a boxing match... Dirrell has about 50% chance. Very even.

However, if Ward puts his head in Dirrell's chest... then Dirrell's long arms and height will only be a problem to him. A rather easy (and ugly and boring) Ward win.

Ward is the most skilled fighter in the heavier weights. His is so intelligent and mentally strong. You really want to bet a guy like Dirrell who is neither intelligent or mentally tough. You must be nuts. Ward can adapt to any style. Dirrell is skilled and it should be close after 6 but Ward will impose his will and either win late on or by 3 or 4 rounds..

I think ward got more to his game than what you just said.

How about this argument. Dirrell had trouble with Froch, who roughed him up on the inside and came forward. Whatever you think of the result, Dirrell did not outclass Froch.

Ward I think it's fair to say is a far more skilled fighter than Froch. Ward is crafty in an almost Mayweatherian way. He pot-shots. He roughs you up.

Dirrell is a more stylish fighter than Ward, no doubt. But if he were a great talent, he would have handled Froch -- lets face it, a crude and hittable mediocrity -- easily.

Also, can you really imagine Dirrell mounting a sustained offensive -- i.e. winning round after round with no lapses -- against the clever, apparently very well-conditioned Ward who will be constantly changing tactics, changing looks?

    Ward wins 7 to 5 or 8 to 4.

Ok, then you need glasses. Ward did it on purpose to negate Greeens power as others allready stated. He might be good at what he does, but Id rather watch Ruiz vs Valuev 500 times than watching this fight again. Hell only have hardcore fans this guy.

Dirrell has faster hands but Ward will beat him by just keeping the jab in his face.

The only man who stands a chance against Ward is Arthur Abraham, with his unpredictable punches coming from all sorts of odd angles.

I think (and really hope) Dirrell wins it also. And like another post I read here, I f*cking hate Dirrell, but boxing just has to prevail for the sake off boxing. I can see it before me right now, a whole army of B-Hop clones wrecking our beloved sport... NEVER!

That Froch experience possibly was very valuable for Dirrell.
Its hard to know, he seemed to be out boxing AA, who alot of ppl
said before that fight - that hed be too much for Dirrell.
So I think he learnt a lot from the Froch fight, IMO AA would
    demolish a guy like Froch.

Dirrell to me, looks like a fighter who will improve with more fights
against top level fighters, I just think he was rattled in the Froch fight,
couldve bought 3 times just as much to the table - but didnt.

I think Dirrell knows he can beat Ward, its going to be a great fight
when if and when it happens and I hope I can once again get some
value about Dirrell on the markets.

This is endgame for Ward. He will be exposed by a masterful performance from the Matrix.

No way. Dirrel is going to get bum rushed, and KO'd. Remember hanshaw people. Please rewatch that fight to know what I am talking about. Ward is going to put the pressure on from the getgo. Dirrel cannot handle pressure on the inside well. At all.

And I am a dirrel fan too btw.

Well the matrix better not crumble when ward gets inside and starts landing. He has a habit of doing that. Abraham applied no pressure, and Froch was getting held and such. Dirrel's style against froch is not going to work with ward. Froch kinda slow.
