He probably needs to change promoters (hes working on this) to Top Rank and defintley fightoutside of Oakland he should be fighting in Nevada

 

Ward is suing Gossen for the 2nd time. Until that is settled Ward ain't fighting no one.

Ward sued Goosen after Goosen has given him everything, all fights in his home town, his personal referee, judges, boxing commission, ring, everything, Ward lost the first suit, but now he is suing him again. What more does Ward want?

It's completely exaggerated and you know it. His last fight wasn't even in Oakland. Neither was the Super 6 final vs Froch. hi:

You speak as if Ward is the only man who stays in his home town (When that's not even the case). Stevenson/Froch are people who strictly fight in their hometown (well Froch for his last few fights)

Stevenson strictly fights in Montreal and Froch strictly fights in Nottingham. There is absolutely nothing bad you can say about Ward. He's doing exactly the same thing as almost everyone in the SPORT.

Why exactly would Ward move DOWN to 160? Golovkin called out all the 168 champions, does he want everyone to move down to face him? Fk that ****. If you're going to call someone else, then you have to make some sacrifices. In this case, move to 168 and beat the champ in that weight class.

Golovkin can make 168 if he wanted.

There is absolutely negative you can say about the Dawson fight.

The fight was for the Super Middleweight titles, not the LHW titles.

The fight was at 168 (Dawson called him out at 168) on the HBO broadcast and the fight was agreed by both parties to be at that weight class. Dawson knew that he had to make 68 and it's his obligation as a professional to do so.

Froch knows that Ward will be robbed in England and be the victim of corrupted British refereeing, dumb scorecards. I think Ward knows this and that's why he refuses to fight there.

And plus, the fight should be in Oakland. Ward is the undisputed champ in that weight class and Froch wants the titles/glory of beating Ward. Ward definitely should have the upper hand in negotiations.

They know that Ward is clearly the biggest name outside of Pacquiao/Marquez in their stable of fights and he deserves that kind of payday.

When Kessler fought Ward, it was in Ward's home town with his referee, judges, boxing commission, etc. Kessler was the champion, yet he had to travel over seas to fight Ward. Ward got away with head butts, elbows, holding, but the head butt in the last round was an intentional, illegal headbutt, but Ward's ref did nothing...........Ward had all of his fights in Oakland, Ward was the only fighter in his tournament who did not have to travel to another country, except the last one which was in Atlantic City, NJ, USA, Froch ( Froch is from UK, not USA) had to travel across the ocean from UK. Froch had fought in America more than once before that, he fought Taylor in USA, not to mention many other fights. Abraham had to fight in America, etc.,

KLITSCHKOS have fought in Ukraine, Germany, Russia, Switzerland, London, England, America many times, such as Madision Square Garden, New York, New York, USA. not to mention Las Vegas, Atlantic City, LA..........

Again, Froch has fought outside his home town, and country many times, so has Abraham, Klitschkos. When Vitali stopped Arreola, that fight was in Arreola's turf, LA, Calif. It was HBO's top rated fight of that year. Golovkin is a very popular fighter, has a great future and said he would go up in time, but not for one fight at 168 for peanuts. Marvin Hagler fought at 160 his entire career, Hopkins fought at 160 for many years before he went up. Ward could easily make 175, fight Kovalev, Stevenson, Shumenov, etc. So, if Ward wants a fight with Golovkin he will have to wait until Golovkin gets his big money fights against Martinez, Geale, Quillin, Murray, etc. Ward wants everyone to fight at his weight on his terms and making only peanuts for a payday...............
