Is he fighting in Europe? Is he fighting against his mate Andre Dirrell? He's had it pretty easy so far (Kessler is tailor made for him imo). Allen Green is considered by many (and me) as the whipping boy in the super six. Some think he's winning the classic. When is Ward going to step into the unknown?

Ward is coming across as a protected fighter. What's he hiding?

He's done nothing except show everyone he's a headbutt and elbow specialist. When's he fighting in Europe? Everyone else has (Green doesn't count, he's here to make up the numbers).

Ward is a moron. Without his headbutt's head be average at best.

Be happy he is fighting Green rather than Carl next. A healthy Green is a bigger challenge than the limited athleticism of Kessler or Froch. It will take more than just heart when it is combined with merely average skill or talent to beat Ward.

Ward could easily win all 3 group stages fights but one mistake and one clean shot in the semis or finals is all it takes with powerpunchers like there is in this tournament, Ward is the best boxer and the clear favourite but theres guys in this tournament with the power to hurt him and stop him.

Goosen is really fighting for Ward/Dirrell to be held in Oakland.

If it happens that would mean all 3 of Ward's 1st round fights will be at his hometown, and considering how bull**** this tournament is, it wouldnt surprise me.

The way this is going you need to bring a gun with you to win if you are the away fighter, just fill in the tournament now picking the home fighter every time.

Ward is Americas biggest hope so he will get the decision/hometown benefit over Dirrell and Green, Froch is at home against Abraham so he will win to, i'm not sure who has home advantage in Kessler/Green but i pick the hometown fighter again.

We could end up with a group stage where every home fighter has won everyfight, at the moment its 6-0.

Ward is by far the most complete fighter in the super-six and I said that before it started. The only question was he has 20 fights when it started so I didnt know how he would react to fighting on the elite level. If he had 25 or 26 fights I would have had no doubt that he would win.

And for the moron that said all he has is headbutts. did you miss the first 8 rounds of the fight were he dominated Kessler before headbutts??? Its not his style to headbutt, its his style to stand his ground, Kessler was charging in and that is the reason for the headbutts.

Green is another unknown. People like to judge him off the fight with Miranda, where the truth is Green was ill and could have died. That isnt a joke. He was at the lowest weight of his career, and had trouble keeping down fluids. Green is a talented fighter with big time power, and I think the only fighter that can derail Ward from winning the whole thing.

It is simply not that way over here. Boxing is so far out of favor that you can't find ANY sport fans that would have ANY idea about the identity and profession of Ward, Dirrell, or Green. If you threw their last names out you would get people guessing which NFL or NBA team they were on. There is no such thing as "America's biggest hope" today. No one is following the sport.

You should just ignore them when they say stuff like that. They act as if we only have one or two good fighters and we only back those fighters. They have no clue, Dirrell and Green have thier backers as well, we dont unify behind one fighter the way they do in Europe, that is what happens when you have several p4p fighters within driving range of your house.

Dirrell has twice the skill over the headbutt master Andre Ward. Why can't Ward fight in Europe? Very Suspicious!

Let's face it, Ward is mind blowingly average. The next boxing superstar...ha...ha....haaaa!!!!

Your right noob. Since Ward set up the super-six, and picked to fight the two Americans. I could see why they should go to Europe to fight. No one was bitching about that before it started. Its was known that Ward would have all three fights in the States. It wasnt until he look over as the favorite to win this thing that morons like yourself started to cry about were the fights were.
