    What the hell is going on with Ward. The number two p4p fighter can't get a fight yet 2 guys who can't beat him with head gear, Froch v Groves packs over 80,000 fans. Froch manager admitted he would never do another Froch vs Ward fight. He gave business reasons and said no one would pay to see Ward, but who wouldn't want to see the last U.S. boxing gold medalist and second best fighter in the world. I know I would pay to see him.

    I know he is embroiled in litigation with Goosen-Tutor and his shady manager James Prince is at the heart of it, but I hope he doesn't waste away his prime like Ali ( though I completely understand), Bernard Hopkins and his battle with Lou Dibella, or James Toney and his inability to stay in shape or Pernell Whitaker and his battle with substance abuse. All great fighters who loss some of the best years due to outside circumstances, I believe Ward could be one of the best ever and I am angry the boxing community is being robbed of the opportunity to witness it.

    The reason why Ward is hated so much on ESB is because Ward beat all the European fighters...

    I said one of the best ever, I think he has that type of talent. But politics is stopping him from reaching his full potential.

    I have a hard time believing that politics is stopping Ward. If he didn't agree with his Goossen was handling his career, he didn't have to sign the contract. Ward has the full-fledged backing of HBO, as he is very tight with Ken Hershman.

    Ward's biggest problem is that he doesn't want to take on challenges. He says Dawson has to come down to 168 to fight, and GGG has to come up to 168, but he won't move to LH for better opportunities.

    He may be a victim of his own success by beating most of the top 168 pound fighters from Europe. However, European Super Middleweights like Froch, Grove, Abraham, and Stieglitz all have wide support of their fans so basically they can make money without ever having to think of Ward again.

    Ward basically wanted the easy big fight against JCC, Jr., but couldn't get the contract worked out and now figures he'll either fight for his perceived worth or just not fight at all.

    Ward, like Rigondeaux, is misguided in his belief that PFP status somehow entitles you to that same level of compensation.

    This always happens to people like Ward.
    Can't say he isn't partially reponsible for hanging with the wrong people to represent him.
    The usual suspects that even Mayweather and Hopkins messed up with in the start of their careers.
    Only difference was Hopkins and Mayweather weren't waiting around praying thinking that God was going to work it out for them. God helps those who help themselves.

    Ward and Prince signed an extension with Goosen but Goosen kept the profits and don't want to give Prince his agreed upon share. Ward is loyal to Prince and sued Goosen to stand up for his manager.

    I see. It's strange though, didn't think anyone would be messing with Prince due to his rep.

    Still i think boxing is way better off without characters like Prince, Arum, King, Finkel etc.

    That's what Al Haymon said and pretty soon all of the top fighters will abandon Arum, Goosen and GBP. King doesn't really have anyone for long term at this point. :yep
