    Yeah probably.
But if you've ever taken an economics class you would know why a monopoly ain't good for boxing either. That's why i support both Top Rank and GBP, keep the competition going lol.

Stevenson has been calling out Ward for a long time now and Ward refuses to answer him. Stevenson even said he would fight Ward at 168, yet Ward still refuses to fight him. Ward said that Kovalev was too big for him.................Ward is a spoiled brat...................I think he has retired..............

Froch wont fight Ward again because Froch would lose again, Froch would prefer fight a bum like Degale and make himself look better than he really is

LOL. Stevenson hasn't called out Ward.
Ward said that he was staying at SMW.
If Stevenson wants to fight Ward all he has to do is make it at SMW, but he won't do that. He's waiting for Kovalev's lawsuit to be resolved so he can make the Hopkins fight at LHW. The Hopkins unification fight in Canada is the biggest payday available to Stevenson, plus Hopkins has two LHW straps.

You are wrong. Stevenson called Ward out live on HBO, and said he would come down to 168, but Ward ran away, not one word about Stevenson because he is afraid...............Ward said that Kovalev was too big for him.................Ward will only fight in his home town, with his personal referee, judges, boxing commission, ring, etc. Ward is a fraud.

Again: STEVENSON CALLED OUT WARD LIVE ON HBO, ANYONE KNOWS THAT...............AND IT WAS LIVE. WARD REFUSED TO EVEN ANSWER STEVENSON.........................STEVENSON SAID HE WOULD FIGHT WARD AT 168, CHECK THE ARCHIVES...............

Doesn't matter. Stevenson should consider himself lucky. Maybe Ward didn't want to fight him because he didn't want to mess his mentor BHOP up in his unification march.
Anyway we saw what Fonfara was able to do to Stevenson with just a couple of straight right hands.
There is no way Stevenson can beat Ward even in the early rounds and especially at SMW.

As a Brit I'm a big fan of Ward but this inactivity is inexcusable and such a waste and possible the main reason for his inactivity is his reluctance to fight out of his hometown and go where the big money is. Come on Andre don't waste your talent and time on what if's and could be's, you could down as an all time great if you wised up and went where the money was.

As for a rematch with Froch, hell yeah I would love too see that happen but Ward has to travel out of his comfort zone for this to happen and I reckon this fight would be a ******* with a possible upset in the making due to Ward's inactivity basically.

i think Ward-Froch 2 not happening has a lot more to do with Froch not wanting it than Ward not wanting it.

Dont think Froch wants to fight him again...ANYWHERE.

HBO wouldn't allow Ward fight a B leverler , but its ok for Kovalev to headline fights against no name bum after bum live on HBO.

The thing is that Golovkin is fighting, and fighting regularly - his next fight is against one of the best remaining opponents at 160. As a result of his activity and his style Golovkins popularity is constantly growing.

Ward is a superb fighter, one of the best of his generation, but his career has just kinda stuttered to a halt since the Super 6.

I want to see Ward back in the ring, actively pursuing a boxing career, not tied up in endless lawsuits. GGGs level of opposition can be justifiably criticised (though given the lack of established 'stars' at MW it's unsurprising) but at least he's fighting. Geale will mark Golovkins 7th fight since his US debut - in the same period Ward has fought just twice.

Regardless of what you think of them as fighters (or of their level of opposition) Golovkin is the one that's making a splash in the boxing world, whilst Ward is the one running the risk of fading into obscurity.

Might be some truth in that but it doesn't help matters when he won't travel further than the gate in his garden
