Ward will have only lost theroritical money, as Holyfield said it not yours until they put It in your pocket, goose will have lost a more significant amount of real money to him already setting up and promoting the fight , maybe even enough to effect his ability to defend the lawsuits

My point about Ward and Goosen is this. Goosen isnt doing a good job of getting Ward fights.

Ward is open to fighting.

Ward would have signed a contract to fight.

breaking that contract would leave him iopen to legal proceedings and sanction.

So not only would he lose his purse but would probably be sued for any losses Goosen incurred.

No, this post is ******ed. You really have no choice now to admit that Goosen for whatever reason isn't making the fights. Yet you still are looking to put the blame elsewhere. Goosen isn't getting his man fights with anyone, that's the end of it.

Ward can say he's ready to fight all he wants but if he is saying out of the otherside of his mouth that his promoter is killing fights and not giving anybody a fair deal, it just doesn't matter if he's ready to take on an army. He's shelved. They don't have to pretend he's invisible, he is.

 

And that "*****" would then sue you for not carrying out your side of the contract.

So you wouldnt get the million.

And your boss be getting you to re-imburse his losses.

It's really hard to have sympathy for Ward. He passed on a unification fight against the hyped, undefeated #1 contender in the divison to go on an extended male parternity leave, and now he is crying about how he is being ducked. Whatever.
