Is this what it used to be like in the lounge?

I never even looked on it, but I know a lot of members miss it.

 

I expected it to be a bit rowdy, but I was shocked.

I took my girlfriend to see them the following year in 2009. We'd only just got together. We stayed away from the stage, but she wanted to get near the front. I tried to talk her out of it, but she wouldn't listen. So we pushed our way through, but ended up on the floor within about a minute. It was actually quite scary. I thought we were going to get trampled on.

 

It's great.

It's their 50th anniversary next year.

Their festivals are great. It's busy, but not too busy, with families of all different ages. It's a lovely atmosphere, and the village of Cropredy where it's staged, is beautiful. It's a great weekend.
