Andre Ward: - Kessler impressed my tonight. His offense was sharp, and his defense better than in a long time. He seemed crisp and sharp. I don't know if it was mentally or physically but I think he could have dominated Carl with the game he showed tonight, and perhaps even stop Carl. He could really have dominated. Something held Mikkel back, and that was a shame. He looked like clearly the better boxer of the two. I still thought he did enough to win the fight. Virgil Hunter - Kessler landed the most telling punches. He put much more hurt on Froch than the other way around. I have a trained eye, and I did not see a win for Carl Froch.
Froch clearly won this fight, He outworked Kessler big time and Kessler looked like he was afraid to fight. He threw one punch at a time. He also got out jabbed by Froch. I love Ward but if he said that he is wrong.
I think he has a bit of hate towards Froch, due to Forch's constant and open criticism of him. I think he was rooting for Kessler, too.
Possible, then again he already fought and beat him. It's not like Froch has shown any improvement compared(this being the keyword) to what he can offer against Ward. Either way, whoever won is a good opponent for Ward and a good opponent for Ward means more money for him. He could have said that to trash talk in hopes of making that rematch or he was saying what he really felt.
Froch by two. Froch will need every advantage to beat Ward and he knows it. Ward shouldnt have to travel
Bull****,he picked Froch to win and said he wouldnt be surprised if he stopped Kessler..Kessler even lashed back at him...why do yall come on here and make up ****?
Regardless of who he picked to win, it was clear he was rooting for Kessler, imo. Did you hear the commentary during and post fight?
Although not threatened as a fighter, I feel Ward is a bit jealous towards Froch due to the attention he receives. He bounced back from that loss like a true champion. 3 great wins in a row.
