Andre Wards dirty tactics

Well, Ward certainly isn't.

 

Kessler was asked by his corner like 10 times if he wanted to stop and he said no, he even mentioned that he couldn't see Sh** after rd 5.

Ward will get KTFO the minute someone finds him during a late fight fade out. Or maybe even early. Ward is going to be the next Amir Khan.

 

There were five head butts I think. They happened much earlier than rd 9. All cuts were cause by butts except the peck on Kesslers cheek.

 

Ward would have won the fight on skills alone, but his tactics were extremely dirty. I think it was the 9th round when he bull-rushed Kessler with his head, and Kessler let out a loud yelp of pain. It was completely deliberate and totally uncalled for. I admire his skills, but as a sportsman - no chance.

 

I guess Ward's next opponents should prepare themselves properly to his tactics. That means practicing countering in sparring and doing some politics before the fight.

He wasn't doing it on purpose, it was accidental and he still was beating Kessler early without any "extremely dirty tactics".

Headbutts happen, most are not intentional.

 

You only have to watch the round in question to realise the headbutt was intentional. Incidentally, I gave Ward credit for the win at the time. He outclassed and outboxed Kessler. But I won't support fighters who intentionally headbutt other guys in the face.

 

I definitely had more respect 4 him b4 the fight. I enjoy watching Ward when he displays his skill & talent. The dirty **** ruined the Kessler fight 4 me. The constant holding & butting was not pleasing on the eye.
I don't blame Ward 4 using the dirty tactics I blame The Ref & Kessler 4 not doing something about it.

They wouldn't be complaining if Ward hadn't done it. He could easily have won tha fight without the butting & excessive holding but he didn't

 

Yeah if you`ve won the first 6 rounds you should be able to foul your opponent in any manner you want and nobody should say jack about it. :rofl
