Andre Wards dirty tactics

(1) hopkins is the one to learn butts from
(2) i read a comparison of ward to jones and then someone said that ward is actually like hopkins and that dirrell is like jones.
well , dirrell is nothing like jones but probably ward is like hopkins.
(3) tyson used elbows extensively .
that is why a missed hook by tyson hurt more than a landed hook by him.

No one is saying thats the reason kessler lost. He was getting his ass waxed either way. I think thats the reason why many turned on ward..... He was using those tactics when he didnt even need too, its like a guy cheating even whens hes clearly winning :think No one is using this as an excuse

Are you sure you weren't rooting for KESSLER before the fight and are now using an alias to fulfill your agenda?

 

The first headbutt caused by Ward was in round 9 if I remember correctly. The fight wasn't close as Kessler lost every round. Tell me why Ward would have to purposely headbutt a guy he was easily beating? Is it that hard to give Ward credit for the ass whipping he gave out that night?

 

Did Kessler "pretend" to be hurt as well?

 

Well...sorry to break this to you, but boxing IS a dirty sport. Ward is a completely different person inside the ring than he is outside, so there goes your theory of the good boy image. One last thing....do people here realize that southpaws and righties clash heads a little more than usual? This isn't a new concept.

 

I think everyone is still giving him credit for the win- even most of the people complaining don't have him ranked any lower than 3 and most people have him as the #1 or 2 Super Middleweight off of it. There's always some outliers, but you'll never get 100% of people on the same page about anything as subjective as rankings.

 

Ofcourse he gets credit for the win, he looked like ****ing neo in there.

Unlike direll, who looked like somone whos have their first fight.

Also, i dont see how anyone can defend kessler for that disgusting performance. :-(

Terrible post for a guy who claims to be such an expert in boxing. Scratch that. This post would be terrible for someone who just started watching boxing.

 

Even if they don't come out and say it, it's obvious they're attempting to tarnish his victory. There are things that happen in every fight that are illegal and not done on purpose, but no one goes on about this much.

 

Hmm. If somebody lunged at me with their hands down I'd think about landing a punch to the head. Maybe that's the problem, Kessler only thought about it.

 

This is due to approximately 85% of the geniuses on this site picking Kessler to win. Nearly all of those 85% picked the win by late KO as well. These are the same people who have now created aliases and are back to say that Ward cheated, rather than admit they were as wrong as wrong can be.

 

He's only been dirty in one fight, where he was a massive underdog and did what he had to to come out with the win. It may not sit well with some but it was intelligent to pull some of those tactics out of the trickbag at that moment. He didn't even need them, as far ahead in class as he was that evening, but it was still smart to use them as failsafes.

Let's withhold judgment until/unless he makes a pattern of it, eh? :deal

This is coming from Kessler's biggest non-Dane fan, too.
