the last time Markussen fought some Magee look alike journeyman level opponent he quit and then retired. I guess the only reason why that guy is fighting again is that hes now willing to embarrass himself even further with another display of his glass heart to get some paycheck

 

Have you heard about his situation with Mogens Palle? You talk about a fight 6 years ago .... Where he had back problems! Markussen is not a topboxer, but so is Magee either! Magee, is certainly going down.

 

Magee should be favored in this fight. Better stamnia an workrate, with decent inside fighting abllity. Markussen have a big egde in punching power, so he must end this fight early. My prediction is Magee by UD.

 

Ward-Magee; when? Summer? Or later in 2012?

Hopefully Ward goes up against Kessler first, then winner of Magee-Markussen, and the winner of Bute-Froch with the 3rd one late 2012 / early 2013.

Ward beter fight someone better

 

By fighting Magee, he would essentially support the Magee fight Bute took because that's who Showtime wanted him to fight.

 

I didn't see much of Markussen but i agree about what you say of Magee. Boxers of Magee level will definitly have a shot at a belt at one point in there career and it's well diserve. I'm tired to see peoples disrespect those kind of fighter by calling them bums etc.....
