Granted he says at the end of the video he thinks Ward will win, I guess he felt obligated as a friend, yet he recommends everyone to go with Kovalev by KO and hedge it with Kovalev by UD, doesn't sound very confident does he?

Well he did officially say he thinks Ward will win, in spite of the fact that he recommending everyone to pick Kovalev by UD and KO, maybe that'll lessen the jinx.

I picked Ward by decision although will be rooting for Kovalev.

The problem with Kovalev is he is a very good boxer but not the kind of tier boxer Ward is on his best night. Kovalev offsets this somewhat with the size advantage...but if he doesn't get a rhythm going and allows Ward to BARELY pick him off round by round then it will get interesting.

Can't believe Andre Ward is already 32...I hope he didn't take this fight as a response to him recognizing the onset of his physical decline from prime because he needs everything in this fight.

Didn't Kovalev say he plans to outbox Ward. How likely is that? Also it's a good thing I don't believe in jinxes or I'd force CST80 off the Wilder bandwagon (just joking).

Dwyer looks at it from a betting angle. He recommends to bet that Kovalev wins by KO and the over which is good for both sides of the bet (as a hedge). I personally don't hedge often, your upside is greatly diminished and if you are wrong you lose both sides of the bet. I'm probably just going to take Kovalev as the dog; he probably wins by KO but I think he could very easily win a decision if Wards goes into Hopkins-Esque survival mode. I honestly don't see Ward winning although I'll admit I could be wrong.

He's saying it as a betting man I think, like I bet on Postol to win because the odds seemed good but I expected Crawford to win without too many problems.

He's more likely to win trying to box than trying to knock him out IMO.

And if Lewis picks Ward we might as well write the W on Kovalevs resume now.

Of course he is, and he's advising everyone to go for Kovalev across the board, and he wouldn't be a very good gambling advisor if he led people astray that often would he?

Occasionally, I said I don't watch Boxing videos on Youtube often, not not at all.
