a ward win over dawson would make me move him below donaire and above martinez. Then a bute win after that moves him to number 3 above jmm but below pac.

With pac running out of opponents, if ward can beat dawson this year and fight bute at the end of the year or the start of next year then he can fight pascal or direll afterwards in 2013 i would move him above pac if he wins all these fights. Pac's kind of hit a brick wall. There is no one out there who can improve his ranking except floyd of course. No rematch will help pac it in fact keeps him still and lets others catch him up on the rankings.

Ward can make the number one spot if he beats dawson, bute, pascal, direll, shillakh in the future. Ward still has a hard road in front of him as you keep hearing him say. He could be number 1 if floyd doesn't fight pac or martinez.

I'll keep him where he's at if he beats Dawson at 168 though I'll still see the fight. Would be different if he faces him at 175 cementing him to a solid 4th place on my list. Bradley would be moved up too if he beats Pacquiao on my scorecard assuming he goes the distance. Dawson and Bute are interchangable to me though Bute is 1A at SMW while Dawson is the man to beat after defeating Hopkins so I have him higher for that.

 

Dawson is so overrated.

Ward will beat him easily and he should already be somewhere from 3-6. He'll stay within the bracket but I see him at #1 in the future.
