It's chit like this that makes Ward so hard to like. This is a big fight, it should be somewhere where it would clearly make the most money and have the most impact. In this scenario it won't be the Oracle Arena where not even Ward can fill.

Ward and Roc Nation need to realise how this looks to fans. Ward has had enough trouble as it is with his image, trying to force the fight location to his advantage just gives his critics more fuel to stoke the fires of hate. Too calculating, too risk adverse even to the point of sacrificing potential income. Fans can't get behind a fighter with an image like this.

Ward should be striving to put his fights on a the biggest stage possible instead he tries to keep things local, small, insignificant all for some possible advantage. Ward may beat Kova, he may go on to retire undefeated like Mayweather but he'll never be a draw or a star, his ambitions and vision are too small.

Frickin Kovalev is gonna duck, I just know it. I suppose Kova's going to want to choose his own cup protector too! :-( What a diva.

Not to pull a Schlongmaster here, but is it any wonder that GGG didn't cancel the Lemieux fight to face Ward? :hey

SIGH. I was deluded enough to believe that with a fight this big, it would be straightforward :verysad
