I think he'll do alright for himself. Not championship level, but good nonetheless. I'm looking forward to seeing how this turns out.

I can foresee a fight (boxing) with him and Kimbo Slice.

People are pretty quick to discount him, but I think he's gonna do pretty well. He's not gonna be the undisputed HW champ or anything, but I think he'll beat up on many of the typical HW boxers. He got KTFO'd while getting caught with a shot while in mid-air leaping toward Fedor with tiny gloves.. that would have put anyone down.

I hope he does well and I'll be rooting for him. He's a tough guy and is working hard, and is pretty good with his fists - especially for an MMA fighter. He was actually winning the fight against one of the most dangerous people on the planet, until that crazy flying knee he threw..

I think everyone here is HOPING he'll fail so that they can make fun of the MMA guy. I think he'll be a good draw and will help in promoting the big fights. Heck, who knows - he might end up beating some of the fat, overrated ****s in the HW division. The guy can hit, he's in shape, and he works hard - more power to him.

Exactly. He's been knocked out like five times in 20 fights. This wasn't just an anomoly. His chin sucks, and he'll be eating a whole lot more flush punches in boxing, so those of you who think the gloves will make that much of a difference should think again.

I'd assume so, his MMA style is more akin to striking/boxing while Anderson's Silva's is a nice mix of all of them.

Why is GBP wasting money on that guy? He'll never be any good at boxing. It's just too late for him to learn the skills and experience to compete at the top level. The guy is 29 years old for God sake!
