All the talking won't help his chin either, anybody that can land the slightest punch on him, is going to KO him.
Andrei seems relaxed and confident, he seems more at ease with himself. Working with Greg Jackson is a step in the right direction, he's a great trainer who can only bring out the best in him. Andrei's time spent in New Mexcio can only be beneficial to him. Hopefully this has renewed his focus and made him look at things more differently. All credit to him.
my first thought exactly. he can train in Africa with tribesmen or in the Amazon jungle, it ain't gonna do anything for his chin. He needs the chin medically repaired or replaced.
Come on guys. Andrei can use his boxing to set up takedowns and then go for subs. He can fight more wary and enforce his ground game. In a sport as versatile as MMA the man certainly has options.
Everybody is training with Jackson now. I like the system they use though, they have a system if gyms that are sort of loosely affiliated: T'sKO, High Altitude, and Easton BJJ are all in or near Denver, Tristar is in Montreal, and then the training camps are at Jackson's gym in New Mexico. So all the guys can live where they want while still getting good training in between fights, and then have lots of great training partners and a great lead coach at a more isolated training camp.
Who is Greg Jackson? Is he like Freddie Roach in the boxing? I didn't find anything in the google, except the webpage of the gym which doesn't work.
He trains GSP, Rashad Evans, Keith Jardine, Nate Marquardt and others. He's probably the best trainer in MMA. At the very least, he is the most recognized.
I don't care who trains him he has a fragile Glass Jaw one of the worst in MMA (and that is saying something) He is going nowhere.
Come on dude, look it Wladimir Klitschko or David Haye. I recongnize that MMA is not Boxing but the both fighters are in haevyweight division. Look it that video it was ten years ago or something like that: :bbb [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GfEv8jA3USw[/ame] Andrej has always had a glass jaw but he has achieved a lot in his career. That's why I donn't unterstand after Andrej lost to Fedor everbody is bringing up the issue with glass jaw.atsch
