    Cheers for the vid!

Good win for Rogers. He deserved to be given a good fight after EliteXC ****ed him around not giving him a shot at Kimbo (as sad as that sounds:verysad) or even a decent heavyweight fight. He should go on to bigger and better things now. Maybe a title shot at Overeem.

As for AA, well, I suppose that's what you get when you throw leg kicks without any conviction. It happened to Jardine, it happened to James Irvin. These guys are gonna have to learn at some point. Then again leg kicks are fairly simple to counter.

Yeah, same here. It looked benign from the angle that they showed during the fight, but from McCarthy's POV it was pretty bad.

Very impressive outta Rodgers. I think hes earned a shot at Overeem. Now we have to hear Mike W. Say how he told us Rodgers is the best and will destroy Fedor.

To be honest, I'm not all that impressed with Rogers. At this point, he just seems like a big guy with power and thats about it. Not much technique or skilled in involved, but at the same time, thats what he has to work with. My point is, however, not to take his Arvloski win too seriously. Yes, its a big-name win for contender like Rogers, but by no means places him among the top of the HWs. It is obvious Arvloski is past his best and whatever punch resistance he had, if any, is completely gone. He keeps getting knocked out cold, and at this point of his career, he will continue to do so by anyone who punches him in the face.

what in the blue hell does what occupation rogers had before he was making decent money fighting have to do with this fight? everyoine has bills to pay. this runs rampant in sports in general just because he was a tire guy doesnt mean he has any less talent fighting. he probably has a family to support and if that means working in an autoshop during the day while training at night or early before work we all have to do what needs to be done

 Yeah, because fights where one guy gets beat standing would all go the exact same way if it was known that one of the fighters could only fight off his feet and couldn't stop takedowns. Imagine what a good boxer could have done in every win Chuck Liddell ever had! Wow! Except that it was his takedown defense that got him to that point.

Really guys, they're two different sports. Just leave it at that and stop trying to shoe horn one into the other for **** talking purposes.

I still can't lay all of the blame on Arlovski's chin. I have seen him take hard shots before. His problem is that he always puts himself in the position to eat nasty, flush, power shots that are going to put him to sleep. Clearly a problem with his defensive reaction time, and his offensive minded aggression.
