Jose "Sugar" Salgado vs. Jesus "Tyson" Limones, 10 rounds @ bantamweight

 

Round 1

Salgado is throwing some big time left and right uppercuts. Limones tries to battle back with straight shots, but is looking much weaker already. Oh, KNOCKDOWN!! Big left hook by Salgado deposits Limones on his bum. Limones gets up and reenters the fray, but Salgado is still bombing away with huge uppercuts. More and more and more!! Salgado lands hooks over and under the defensively outstretched arms of Limones. Now Limones rallies back with a big flurry, but it doesn't bother Salgado at all. Salgado finishes the round with an ENORMOUS flurry, putting Limones on the ropes -but Tyson survives!!

Round 2

Limones is doing well to get back into it, pushing out some high jabs and hooking at the body while flopping inside on Salgado, within the firing range of those wide uppercuts and hooks. Salgado backs up and tries to slam into Limones with his power punches again. Limones is crossing his forearms on the way in, absorbing shots on the shield and on the hips when Salgado bends over to either side for whacks to the body. Limones is actually applying pressure. Hooks to the head by Limones!! He's game!! Tight defense by Limones. Jabs and rights put Salgado on the ropes!! Salgado answers back with hooks to head and body coming off the ropes!

 

Round 3

Delayed start. Something is wrong with Salgado's mouth piece. Okay, here we go. Limones is digging to the body. Salgado is throwing left and right uppers, twisting his full body weight into them now as he turns side to side and fires them while backing up. Head clash. Salgado is badly hurt by it. The ref wags a finger in his face. Now he goes and sternly discusses it with Limones. The ref will probably take a point from whosoever initiates the next headbutt. He isn't ****ing around here. BIG uppercut combo by Salgado. Now some slapping overhands raining down on the smaller man. Limones is punching right through the storm back at him!! Gutsy little dude, he is! Salgado hooks the body. Triple hook, high medium & low. Limones lands a right hand, forcing Salgado back to the ropes. Limones is bullying the bigger man back at the end of the round. Salgado tries to slap him off. Salgado's nose is bleeding.

30-26 Salgado

 

Round 4

Salgado is pushing the jab up into Limones' forehead, and hooking him in the body. Limones keeps coming forward, dropping his sickles and swinging them out at Salgado's body. Now Salgado dances back and establishes a jab. Where the heck has that been, Captain Uppercut? Pretty good jab, has Salgado. He uses it to keep Limones on the outside, where he can dissect him with left hooks to the body and right hands over the top as he jumps in. Limones keeps on jumping, never giving up.
